AUSTIN DOCTOR ELECTED TREASURER OF THE AMERICAN
CHIROPRACTIC ASSOCIATION - RECEIVES PRESIDENTIAL AWARD OF
VALOR
ARLINGTON, VA - The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) elected
Austin doctor of chiropractic, James D. Edwards, DC, as ACA Treasurer during
ACA's 40th Annual Business Meeting in Albuquerque, NM on September 20. He
was also re-elected to the position of District VI Governor.
Dr. Edwards is a 1977 graduate of the Logan College of Chiropractic
and practices with the Chiropractic & Spine Center of Austin, P.C. He
has been very involved in the chiropractic profession for many years having
previously served as ACA Chairman and as Chairman and Treasurer of the American
Chiropractic Association PAC. In recognition of his service to the
chiropractic profession, Dr. Edwards received a "Presidential Award of Valor"
at the Annual Meeting.
The ACA, based in Arlington, VA, is the largest chiropractic
organization in the country. The ACA provides lobbying, public relations,
professional and educational opportunities for doctors of chiropractic, funds
research regarding chiropractic and health issues, and offers leadership
