Noted events in his life were:
• Notes about life. Grandma Venie always told me that Pa (Felix) had a brother named Jeff that was a doctor. It took some time to come up with the name Thomas Jefferson as the brother of Felix. He was in Bollinger County, MO in 1860 with his father Luke's family, but apparently never went into the Civil War as did his brothers.
In 1870 he is listed as a school teacher in Bollinger County. By 1880 he is in Campbell, Dunklin County , MO practicing Medicine. We believe that he just went down there with his daughter Etta and decided to be a doctor as no one has found a license for him. His grandaughter told me that he married in Bollinger County about 1878, took the baby and left his wife by 1880. She has no proof of this, just hand down family information. She said he raised his daughter, took her with him on his trips and self educated her. I found no marriage or birth iformation in Bollinger County. I believe that he married Nancy Ann Orr in Dunklin County about 1879, she died in childbirth and he raised Etta.
