• Notes about life. Robert Edwards arrived in Jamestown from Cardiff, Wales for the first time in 1634. It is from oral history that he came a second time in July 1636 aboard the ship "Ye Merchant Hope", with his brother's Thomas, John, William. (From "The Edwards" by Bruce Edwards. He married Rebecca in Isle of Wight, Virginia.
