Felix "Capp" and Rebecca Edwards owned land this side of the old Simmons Place. When the Butlet County Railroad went through, it made a curve around part of the Edwards place where a tiny plot lay, called "Beckys Cut" or "Tango Cut" which was cut off from the Edwards place. Nellie Hopkins remembers people were buried there, but no stones. Mrs. Jess (Rachel) Edwards said there was one grave she knew about. Rachel said it was Rachel's baby and that it was marked with a stone. Jeff Edwards (son of Felix) owned the land after Capp and his wife died. She(Nellie Hopkins) said that there were 5 graves on the old Simmons Place, now owned by Frank Faulks (Farr Cemetery or Bruce Cemetery)-----no one remembers for sure. A small family plot, later to be called Bruce Cemetery when Tellie Bruce owned the land. Alma Neeley Johnson grew up in the area and knew the railroad curve as "Tango Cut." The railroad cut between the house aand the little cemetery. Two still born children were buried here on land owned by John and Aunt Cam Rogers. It was not Becky's land, but some it was called "Becky's Cut." One child was from Capp and one from Anne Edwards Johnson, a grandchild of Capp.
The Latta School was in the area. The students walked the shorter distance by railroad track (on Joe Latta's land). The Bruce Cemetery and hill could be reached at back of Ezekiel Davis' house. Note: This information from several individuals that have differnt opinions about the cemetery and railroad cut, but they all do agree that there was an old cemetery on the site.
Note: Venie Edwards Bradford told her grandson James E. Haywood during a conservation in the laate 1960's that she reckoned that her grandparents Luke and wife were buried on the hill above the railroad track. James remembers seein some old headstones on the hill above the railroad tracks in the late 1920' or early 1930's. He remembers attending pie socials and other events at the old Latta School House. The road had to pass the Old Simmons Farm to get to the Latta School.

• Fact 2: Farmer.
• Fact 2: Civil War, 5Th Ark. Regiment.
